Revised: the room was nice and had everything I needed, the staff were friendly, and I loved the view of the pool from there.

The renovated rooms were spacious and well-equipped, with a furnished balcony offering a lovely view of the pool and garden. The hotel's mix of contemporary and period decor created a unique and welcoming atmosphere. The owners were incredibly accommodating, allowing us to have an early breakfast and store our bikes inside. The large pool and small garden were perfect for relaxing and enjoying pre-dinner drinks. a fantastic place to stay with friendly hosts and a great location for exploring the local area.

the hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, going out of their way to make me feel at home. I personally witnessed them preparing snacks for guests who arrived hungry, which was a thoughtful gesture. Secondly, the hotel itself is housed in a beautiful period building, with contemporary rooms that are spotlessly clean and well-equipped. I loved having a balcony overlooking the pool and garden, and the comfortable bed ensured a great night's sleep. Lastly, the breakfast provided was delicious and served in a wonderful mix of contemporary and period living areas. The owners were kind enough to accommodate my request for an early breakfast and even allowed me to store my mountain bike inside. this hotel has a fantastic ambiance and is conveniently located near various attractions, making it an ideal choice for anyone looking to explore the area.
There was honestly nothing about my stay at this hotel that I didn't like.

I had a fantastic stay at a beautifully renovated small hotel in a charming village. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely terrace overlooking the courtyard. The open plan reception/lounge area was tastefully decorated and had a welcoming feel. The owners, Eric and Frederique, were genuinely lovely people who made me feel at home. The breakfasts were delicious, and the flexibility of the owners with meal timings was greatly appreciated. The hotel's location was perfect, with easy access to historical towns, waterfalls, and beaches. I highly recommend this hotel for a unique and delightful experience.
One drawback was that smoking was allowed around the pool, which was a bit unpleasant because the courtyard was small and the smoke got trapped. Another issue was the limited food options in the village, so it would have been helpful to receive advice from the hosts on where to reserve in advance for dinner.

The property was beautifully restored, with a mix of contemporary and traditional furnishings. the pool and garden were the perfect places to relax with a drink, and there were plenty of stunning waterfalls and beaches nearby to visit. the hosts were welcoming and accommodating, offering us a complimentary bottle of fizz for our anniversary.
It would have been nice if smoking was not allowed around the pool, as the smoke tended to linger in the small courtyard. We also felt that a mini fridge in the room would have been helpful, as there were limited food options in the nearby village.
